Running the Rapids: Emotion Regulation Skills in Clinical Practice

Emotions are a fundamental aspect of human experience. People who know how to regulate emotions well tend to be more effective in everyday life. Difficulties with emotion dysregulation on the other hand, have been identified as an important element associated with many human problems. This workshop will help the clinician understand the evidence base for, principles of, and practical strategies used in teaching emotion regulation skills to clients.
